I am looking at this picture and noticed that you have BFR with Bisley grip installed.



Who did that, and how? I was told in more than few instances that this is not possible on newer BFR-s, or very difficult so smiths refuse to do that.

Also, is any problem installing original Ruger Bisley hammer and/or trigger on BFR?

Onty, it's not a BFR. It is a prototype D-Max frame which is the original frame that BFR used that shared grip frames with the Rugers, so those guns are easy to change. The work was done by Jack Huntington (530-268-6877). The old D-Max frames are considerably lighter than the BFR today. Current BFRs can be converted to a Bisley grip frame but it requires a lot of work (Jack also performs these conversions).
