Has anyone had a chance to take a look at Bowen's new book , The Custom Revolver? Before I order a copy up I'd like to have a some feedback from those who have a copy or have examined it. I am sure it is a worth it, but I make a habit of not buying too many gunbooks... and shooting more instead!

I got one and have been enjoying reading it a lot. It covers almost everything about custom revolvers. I just can't get enough of the book. It is one heck of a gun book in my collection. Get one and enjoy. Cheers! Ming

That book of Bowen's is top notch. It's to make you drool. A very nice coffee table book, and it's full of excellent information, too!
I believe any sixgun shooter with a spare $3,000 should avoid this book, as it sets a man to thoughts of discontent about his current collection. This book could cost you a serious chunk of change, and all you would get in return is a work of art in steel.
Beware!
Pete (I shot one of Bowen's basic jobs on a BlackHawk last week- very smooth, and a very nice deep blue color.)
