What Crimp To Use
So far, I've seen:
Taper Crimp, Roll Crimp, Factory Crimp, and
Profile (?) Crimp dies offered for handgun cartridges.
Which one is used when?
Thanx,

any of those are fine. the best crimp die i've had contact with is the Lee Factory Crimp die, its nice. I believe my dies are taper crimp, not sure, but they do a great job on my .38 and .357 loads. If i were loading for big bores, i would definatly opt for the 4-Hole conversion on my Lee Turret press so i could use the factory crimp dies.
If you are just loading standard loads, then any of them will do fine. If you're going to load big bores (.44mag and up) then i would suggest using the factory crimp die.

cyberhick,

I agree with you I use it for me .454 Casull rounds. I love Lee Turret 4 Holes Press for my handguns cartridges.

I see you both recommend the Lee 4 hole press. Don't have one of those, but, I think I'll look into it. All that die changing is a pain with a single station press.
