Have you tried a Taurus Raging Bull in 454? I have one in stainless with an 8" barrel and it shoots better than I can with jacked bullets. When I tried to shoot lead cast bullets out of it at 1000fps or so it will lead so bad that after a couple of cylinders full I it wont turn and I have to scrub the cylinder and the barrel inside and out. The front of the barrel where the porting is located is bored larger inside than the rifling and gets full of lead and is a real pain to clean out. Because of this I have given up on shooting lead bullets completely. I like the Raging Bull in spite of this, but I still want a Freedom Arms in 454. Like "MS Hitman" said you get what you pay for.
