Well, it was a quick opening morning for me. I decided last night that I was going with my Ruger GP-100 .357 mag as my primary this morning. I had dropped a hunting buddy off at his location and headed up to where I was going to set up a ground blind. Got set up and about 5 minutes later this fellow came charging in to the scent bomb I had put out.

I took him in the neck at 30 yards with open sights. He flipped back, hit the ground and died.

Factory PMC 158 Grain Jacketed Soft Points.

Boring, Yes, but it hit him like a ton of bricks.

They do run a little hot.
