Can anyone tell me the correction pronunciation for the word Bisley as it pertains to the Ruger handgun? Is it Bisley with a short "i" or long "i"?

I've always pronounced the word with a short "i". If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

I say it with a short "i", but I believe it in fact is supposed to be "Beezly". "He who has it, would do well to have it as if he did not have it." http://www.Savage24.com .45 Throats for Pete's sake. http://www.cylindersmith.com

It the Ruger pistol mamed after Bisley, England, historical home of target shooting in the UK? If so, then the way to pronounce Bisley is "Bizlee" Regards ------------------------------ Richard VENARI LAVARE LUDERE RIDERE OCCEST VIVERE

Thanks everyone. Guess I could just call Ruger and ask to be sure.

Considering where Deerdogs lives, I feel better about saying, Biz-Lee! "No one told you when to run; you missed the starting gun."
