All you Contender shooters hear that T/C is no longer making the 10" barrel - in any caliber! Just got off the phone with Darlene from T/C, and she verified that with the introduction of the G2 all factory offerings will be 12" or 14". If we want a 10" barrel its off to Vigin Valley and/or SSK Industries or any other Contender barrel custom shop. Not sure how i feel about this. I'm a 14" barrel fan myself, the extra weight never really bothered me, but I know the majority will argue barrel length.Anyway, just wanted to dispell any rumors that may get started. This info came directly from the horse's a**.

Well the Horses ASS Blew the wrong direction!! You can buy a 10" tube through TC's CUSTOM SHOP

If the "Custom Shop" is going to charge me extra for a 10" tube. I'll just buy the longer one and send it out to Mike or Dave and have it cut down and a good crown put on it at the same time.

I think you would get a better barrel by doing it this way anyway.
