Even with the square-bottomed grease groove? I really hope so! I think that would be a great tribute to Elmer...

"say out at about 500 yards with a handgun"

Ouuævvvv!

I can hardly see the animal at 500 yds. (with a big rifle-scope).

With my 375 JDJ (Leupold 2,5-8) - I feel that 200 m is max.

But we all have different skills Smiler

No, actually 500 meters! That is 547 yards. We have kept most shots on the steel ram by finding hold over while walking shots. I have to aim at a tree branch about 26' high with my BFR.
I am going to take Marko to the club one day and try to find the steel at 800 yards.
We never shoot over 100 when hunting, but why is there a limit on range for fun?
