| Nice looking revolver and leather!
If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

| I love my Simply Rugged holsters. I'll be ordering one when my FA model 83 gets closer to delivery.
BTW, I love the look of the low profile wood grips on the redhawks! |

| Thanks guys. The wood grips do bite a little more than the original Hogues with heavy loads but not enough to be a detriment. I am pleasantly surprised how much less perceived recoil there seems to be with the heavy 45 colt loads compared to the same bullet weight in the 44 magnum, both at similar velocities. The 45 is no slouch for recoil but not as sharp as the 44, if that makes sense. Mart
"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." | Nice looking holster.
But I perfer ones with some type of retaining strap.
Over the years I had hand guns come out unintentional from holsters with out straps.
I perfer the thumb break straps on mine.
I even go as far as using lanyards on my handguns when in areas where a dropped gun means losing it or sever damage to it.
Like boating, canoeing, rock climbing, ect. |

| I'd like to thank everyone that has been talking about holsters lately. It's got me back to making a couple of them. I just finished A nice med. rise for a Buckmark 5.5 inch. It came out beautiful and fits perfect. I also did a crossdraw pancake type for my "wifes" model 60 3 inch. It worked out great. I'm going to make another crossdraw for my Ruger 4" Redhawk for riding the 4 wheeler. Thanks again. If I knew how to post pics I put em in here but I don't |
