This is the handgun hunting forum, not much handgun hunting discussion gets discussed here. There is more posts and just common handgun information than on hunting, why can't there be a separate handgun general information area?

There is a handgun shooting forum and there is a hand rifle forum (even though it doesn't seem to stop folks from posting about their hand rifles here). I handgun hunted two weeks ago and posted about it. Technical discussions are an integral part of hunting, so I don't see a problem.

I was talking about the pistol forum. I guess I never looked for it. I saw your thread on hunting here.

I have seen the pistol area, but thought it was about semi-auto's and did not have a lot of interest in posting on semi-auto's, but I see after looking there, that there is a lot of other guns discussed there as well.

Whitworth, I accused your two partners and your friend, the moderator of not being able to understand the written language. Now I see that you don't understand what "HANDGUN HUNTING" means (not that I didn't suspect it). Now I know this post is going to be deleted, but I do hope you get to read it before it does. Hitman, you, jwp, and BFR are personal friends who've hijacked this forum and when ANYONE says anything that violates your priviledge in life, the thread gets locked or eliminated. You guys SELDOM talk about hunting unless it's to show the damage your prized handcannon did to an animal for the sake of proving your point on your way of thinking. When I go to "ASIAN HUNTING", "AFRICA HUNTING", "ALASKA HUNTING", etc, they don't tell me about the wildcat round they took or open the brisket trying to refute the laws of physics like you 3 (4) guys do. If it's such an "integral part", it would seem to be across the board. You guys have simply hijacked this forum to project your own personal biases and beliefs and anyone who ventures to question that gets chastised and invited to "If you don't like what we say, hit the road." (Sound familiar Hitman?) Tell me when the last time you took a hand cannon with a 2.5 inch barrel HANDGUN HUNTING.

roof, the only one that does not understnad physics and trys to re-wrtie the laws of physics is you.

You never post any credible reference material to support your position. You are quick with the personal insults to support your position, beause you have no reference material other than The World According to roof

The written language according to you, George? If this isn't self-riteous BS, then I don't know what is. If you don't necropsy an animal after killing it, you don't really know how your bullet performed (aside from the obvious that the animal is dead). Therefore, this is an integral part of hunting -- be it with a rifle, shotgun, handgun, or blunt object. BTW, the shortest barreled handgun I own has a 3-inch barrel and it is a personal defense gun, not one I hunt with. Speaking of which, when was the last time you hunted with a handgun? Post up and stop bitching.

Whitworth, if it matters, I hunted deer last January in Delaware and in January in South Carolina. Shot a fox at about 75 yards with my 460 XVR in Carolina. Does that count?

Then post up some hunting reports. You are complaining about lack of handgun HUNTING content, and you missed your golden opportunity to post. What are you waiting for? I hunted two weeks ago and I posted a report.

Let me see now, boolit performance, accuracy, caliber choice, barrel length, ways to carry, best powders, velocities, distance and 1000 other items do not mean anything for handgun hunting! Confused
Maybe "Handgun" should be removed and it should just be "Hunting". (I crawled to within 20 yd's of a bull moose with my (No name pistol, unknown caliber, unknown bullet, and blew it to pieces.) Very exciting! Very informative! Did he wear holes in his pants?
Seems to me the rifle hunters discuss all aspects of equipment used, are we to be shut off now?
Hunting is equipment based, not how you got close enough for a shot. How dry is a hunting story without every detail?
If anyone posted that they killed a buf, the first questions will be about what gun and load was used, what distance, how did the boolit perform!
I went fishing the other day and caught a 20# bass. No, I won't say where or what rod I used, what lure, what line, what reel, what boat, what motor, just that my boat went fast and the water was smooth! :rolleyes
Hey Redhawk, get real. homer

Here is my next hunting story.
I walked to my stand. Shortly a deer came by. I shot it. End of story!
More sporting, I spotted a deer and snuck up close. I shot it. End of story.
Whitworth told a great hunting story and included everything. He could have said that he shot a pig. jumping

You guys never relent do you. The best apple pie in the world with a turd in it still ain't apple pie to me. One hunting story out of every thousand or so doesn't make this a HUNTING forum.

Then contribute some hunting stories, George. I only post hunting stories after I go hunting. You went a few times this year and you should post up.

Turd in an apple pie? Not a pretty visual......

Whitworth wrote a great story about hog hunting and included a lot of pictures. There were only 35 post in the entire thread and not a single post from you george. You are not interested in participating in a thread about hunting with a hundgun, you are only interested in hurling insults and showing your contemp for others. You have not posted a thread about hunting and rarely participate in one, unless you come in to defend Redhawk1.

BTW Whitworth, thank you for sharing your HUNTING story with us. At least I could live it vicariously. Maybe next month I can see what a pistol does on a bear when Redhawk and I go to Maine. The guide is telling us there are 400-600 pound bears there, but I didn't just fall off the onion truck. If I sit there a couple days with nothing, then it reverts to "If it's black, it's busted." However, if the bear ends up being no bigger than the greyfox, I don't think I'll be posting any stories.
