If the use is "carry alot, shoot very little"..

then SW 329PD or Night Gaurd.

If the use is "carry alot, shoot alot"....

then SW Mountain Gun (not titanium)

You may shoot it a lot, but you won't carry a Mountain Gun as much as a 329. Not even close. Not sure why you wouldn't shoot a 329 - do you own one?

Why would one carry a gun a lot, but not shoot it a lot? I would shoot mine a lot, in fact my M-327 PD is a favorite of mine to shoot

dla,

No I don't own a 329...have shot ONE with full power loads and found it "uncomfortable"...

I do like the size/weight of the 329....but don't mind carrying the Mtn. Gun on field trips.

For "city use" I think the 329 is a winner beer

I have the 357PD (aka, .41 mag) and it's a superb carry gun. Recoil is stout with heavy 265gr. loads at 1,100 fps from the 4" bbl, but it's manageable.

Robert
