I got both a 7.5 inch FA 454 and now a Linebaugh Custom 5.5 inch 500 Linebaugh. Both are great shooters but as I always prefer the new toy I have to give the edge to the 500. Something about that big hole in the end of the barrel. As far as resale value: Who cares? There is nothing, including bankruptcy, that would make me part with the 500. I waited too long for that gun to get rid of it. On looks, I prefer blue to stainless. I like the barrel band on the 500 and the giraffe bone grips. Downside is the price of brass but maybe that will change.

hope you change your mind about going back out to the seminar this year Roger. Id like to see your gun and my new .500 will be done by then. Got a couple more new toys to show you too.
