Dave, I told you I was asleep! I went back to page one and seen the pictures. Great looking boolit and it sure will fit in the throat like the big Lyman I have.
I always open the second page and forgot they were there. Old age ya know!

Mountaingun, strange you say that! With every revolver I have ever owned I would start at the low end and work up 1/2 gr at a time until groups tightened. When I had around one inch or less at 50 yds, the next highest load would start to open to equal the same size group I got 1/2 gr before the best. As loads were increased the groups got larger. The progression would be like this; 3", 2-1/2", 2", 1-1/2", 1", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3". So of course I pick the best for my loads. It has NEVER been the max load.
Then every different make and weight of bullet would take a different amount of powder of course. I also found that a good cast boolit from 300 to 330 grs. in the .44 would take the same load. Ditto for the .45 in that boolits from 335grs. to 347 grs. liked the same powder charge. None are max! From many years shooting IHMSA, going through 7 different .44 mags, two .357's, two .357 super mags, one .375 super mag, and two .45's it has always been the same. Powder of choice was always 296 except for the .357 super mag that loved 4227. I shot a 39 out of 40 with the brand new Ruger super mag without a single sight setting at the start of the shoot.
You also state you have been using a .357 and I will say that it has an inherent accuracy that the larger calibers don't have.
I also found the Rooster lubes were all very good, comparable to LBT lubes. All the rest, Lyman, Alox, etc came nowhere near them. They would be OK with lighter loads but when you push the envelope, my choice is Felix, LBT, then Rooster in that order. The rest need not apply!

I forgot to reply to your full length sizing! When shooting max loads, you will expand the brass too much making some hard to chamber. I don't shoot max loads so I never have a problem dropping shells in the chambers, even after 30 loadings. There is a difference in accuracy because the rear of the case more closely fits the chamber keeping the bullet in closer alignment with the bore instead of laying down against the bottom of the chamber.
I also have not seen any animal that can flip me the bird because my boolit was 100 fps too slow.
