These sight have worked very well for me. I don't know what other rear sight systems besides the replaceable Ruger blades thay are made for. Bob

Unfortunately, I don't own a Ruger six gun, so I don't know how different they are, but from the pictures they look simillar- and maybe the Ruger blade can be adapted to fit a Taurus.

Anyone have both handguns, and if so do they look like the Ruger blade might be made to work?

I put one of these on my Ruger SBH Bisley Hunter---( 44 mag--310gr wnfp gc with 21gr H110)---they are really not a peep---more like a ghost ring in usage. Precision is only so-so, but faster acquisition (for old eyes with presbyopia) is very good. I use scopes or red dots on everything else---but with this sight blade, I am good on a 9 inch paper plate out to 50 yds---or maybe 75yd--- if I am very deliberate---and that was my goal. So far they are only made for Ruger. pg
