Quite a while back (like maybe Oct) I asked on this forum about an unmodified Old Model .41 Mag I had seen in a pawn shop about 2 hours from home.

I got all favorable responses but never could seem to get back there.

Well, yesterday I walked in again and, low and behold, they still had it. $20 less than last time. I wrote them a check and went to the Sheriffs office, got my permit and when back and picked it up.

Anyone got any recommendations for ammo to use for practice and plinking? I plan on shooting up a few boxes and then start reloading the brass.

Go to bestshot amm0o for their remanufactured 41 magnums $110 for 500 rounds of 210 FMJ. It will start you off with some ammo. Enjoy the 41 I love mine. Even cuatomized it a bit. Added a steel grip frame and trigger, bullseye ejector rod and a Keith # 5 Belt mt basepin.
Shoots good.
