My best luck with variable power handgun scopes has been Leupold and Redfield (which is no longer in production). Two weeks ago I was at the 100yd range with my FA 454 with 7 1/2" barrel and a T`SOB mount with 3 rings. Mounted on the gun was my Burris 2-7X variable, as I was trying to see how accurate the Cor-Bon 360gr. jacketed solids were at 100yds.At the 4th shot the scope stopped working.I had no problem using the same bullet in 320 grains, however, the 360 was to much. I will be sending the Burris back to the factory for repair.I am not saying that Burris is a bad scope as I own 4 of their handgun scopes.Someone else may use the same set-up I have and shoot 360gr Cor-Bons all day and not have a problem. I am just telling you of my experience`s with handgun scopes. Good hunting, JFS | ||
