Doesn't the Ultradot come with it's own rings? Mine did.

Welcome to the forum, tor! The Ultradot 25 will fit in the rings that come with the SRH -- they are 1-inch rings. For the Ultradot 30 you need to upgrade to the 30 mm rings from Ruger. I wouldn't mess with any other rings than the Ruger rings as they are stronger than other offerings. I broke a set of Redfields on my SRH........

The Ultra Dot rings will not fit a SBH Hunter or a SRH unless you install the Weigand base.
The 30mm Ultra Dot needs 30mm rings from Ruger and the Ultra Dot WILL fit between them.

sighted it in and shot some rounds at an indoor 25meter range yeaterday! Lots of fun! Will take it outdoors to get some distance this weekend. Planning on adjusting the sight to 75 meters. (or 50.. havent decided yet.. need to see the impactpoint at different ranges first..)
