I received my Encore from Virgin Valley. I had a 13" 6mm BR and a 13" 308 Winchester barrel made on the full bull barrel. The scope mounts they supply are very rugged looking and the pistol grip and forearm are first class. I am really impressed with everything that I ordered.
I fired 6 rounds this afternoon from the 308 barrel. Recoil was not to bad(no brake).
I have not mounted a scope yet, but will report back when I can get everything together for some serious testing.

I like my 7MM BR, very accurate. What I need next is a barrel for elk, maybe a 300 Win Short Mag. How was Virgin Valley to deal with? Slim

They are very easy to deal with. Steve is the one that I have been dealing with. The thing that I like most is that they do the metal and wood working all in house. The only thing that they send out is the checkering of the stocks. They require 50% down to start, and send you a written invoice of the work discussed before they start on your project. That way everybody is on the same page. I am very pleased so far.
