My personal favorite is the Ultradot 30 -- they are less than $160.00 shipped. SRH with a 5.5-inch barrel?? Someone cut it down, obviously. What caliber if you don't mind me asking?

44 mag. Not cut. I think maybe Ruger made a special run. It's my first Ruger & I really like it.
I have a S&W PC 44mag 6 1/2". I do not want to put "hot loads" thu it. It's my deer stand gun.
The Ruger fits the ticket.
Thanks for the info on Ultra Dot

SRHs came in 7.5 and 9.5-inch configurations. They also came with a 2.5-inch barrel in the Alaskan configuration. Do you have a Redhawk by chance?

Definitly Super Redhawk .
After your 1st post I did a search. You're probably right as it definitly is 5.5. so it probably was cut down @ Ruger. ( Never really paid attention to Rugers)
The only 5.5 were people talking about having theirs cut down. Makes me feel that I got even a better deal. $450 which included holster , belt, soft case, dies,Tasco scope, and a MODDED BARREL . Thanks
