For field use of my sixguns, I've been using two holsters. A Sparks Versa Max for my N frames, and a Sparks SS2 for my K frames. I hope to have a flapped and lined OWB holster made soon for my 4" Smith .44 Special. Teaming this up with my 16" .44 Lever should be fun in the woods. Before I sold my scoped Redhawk in a fit of insanity, it rode in a ballistic shoulder holster with wide shoulder straps; I can't remember who made it.

Here is a picture of my three favorite holsters and then another picture of some of my other leather and centerfire singleactions. The first one is the Big Jake from Kirkpatrick, second is the San Diego from Blackhills Leather, and third is the Slim Jim from San Pedro The first gun and the 2 Hunter models (5th and 6th) are my fathers, the rest are mine. Anybody care to share their favorite holster maker and style? I have three favorites. 1. BlackHills Leather "San Diego" rig in Russet for my 45 Bisley. 2. San Pedro "slim Jim" with rough out belt in oil finish for my SBH 44 with 7 1/2" barrel. 3. Kirkpatrick "Big Jake" in dark brown for my blued 45 vaquero with 4 5/8" barrel. Anyone else?
