Any Wildey shooters here? If so, any favorite loads or done any hunting with one? I've been shooting one for years now but have yet to take game with it. I have settled on two favorite target loads. My fast one is a 230 gr. FMJ at 1700+ fps. I can push it to 2000+ fps but don't get much improvement for the umph. The slow one is a 400 gr. JSP at just over 900 fps. Again, I could probably go to 1100 fps but don't have a need for that much power yet. All this is in .475 Wildey mag. Hope to hear from other Wildey shooters.

I use 20.5 & 12.5 grains of Blue Dot respectively. This gun is outstanding at 100 yards and impressive at 200. I've never seen that 400 gr. speer listed is it on their website? I've used the Kaswer stuff and about to start with the Hornady 400. Let me know more about that 400 gr. load of yours. Thanks.

To get this bullet you will need to get a hold of a gun dealer ask if they would look it up in there JSC (Jerry's sport center) flyer. This bullet is made for the 475 Linebaugh it is listed as a 400gr soft point golddot. This load would shot a 2" group at 100 yd but it is hard on your arm if you it alot. If you call Wildey they have my loading data for the Wildey pistol useing
N 110 VIHTAVUORI OY powder
