9.3, thanks for your input. Checked out a few sites and find leupold scopes in the IER catagory. What I was hoping for was a rifle scope with enough eye relief to be safe. I just don't know what that didtance would be. I guessed ~ 5 to 6". Smoker

I don't know that you'll find a standard rifle scope with 6" of relief. However, the 2-7x burris EER goes as low as 9" - I actually find it too short for my arms (I'm only about 5'9"). I think Burris makes or used to make some IER scopes - I know they made/make a 10x IER...
