I am looking for a good load for the Super Mag.
I am Black bear hunting in September . Whats a good 300 gr bullet or Larger for a .44 mag ,I can figure a load.

I've had good luck with .429 and .452 bullets of the LBT pattern from both Beartooth and Cast Performance.

I second that. I really like the Cast Performance 300 and 320 grain Gas Checked Bullets. Cabelas has them in stock. They are accurate and have a good wide nose for good wound channels. They also penetrate like Gangbusters. I rechambered my Handi rifle to 445 SM.
