so far the load i have been using are made from once fired factory corbon ammo. i just recived some brass that is stamped 500 s&w(with 3 little stars)(this is starline brass) how ever there is no "R" stamped on the case to indiacte that the brass is usuable with larg rifle primers i took one case and it dose fit a larg rifle primer i will call cast proformance since i bought the bullets from them dose anyone have any thoughts on this matter maybe it was a run of the new rifle primer brass but they forgot to stamp the r on it.

As long as the primer does not stick up above the case head you will be OK. If you've got something flat, like a piece of clean glass (your wife's makeup mirror), you can place the primed case on it and see if it wobbles on the primer. If so, don't use the rifle primer (unless you want to shoot them one at a time, with the other chambers unloaded). If you're real concerned you can get a primer pocket uniformer and deepen the pockets to take rifle primers, or just use mag pistol primers. I've been using mag pistol and haven't had a problem (my brass is the older type).
