Well Sean, as long as you asked. It's a standard RedHawk, shot like poop with the factory barrel so after much wailing and gnashing of teeth I had a 6 1/2 inch Pac-Nor barrel installed, cylinder gap is .0035 (all better now). Before I put the Pac-Nor on (still trying to make it shoot) I'd sent it to Mag-na-Port and when they ported it I had them slick the action and do the trigger, the trigger breaks on single action at 4 lbs even.

For sights I had the smith install Bowen sights, too accommodate my 55 year old eyes he put a .164 post on the front and cut a .153 notch in the rear.

Grips came by way of "Get A Grip" they are made by Badger and are what they call a "Combat Style".

I carry it in a Bianchi "Cyclone" cross draw holster, left side carry right hand draw (Rides very well in a pickup when your driving).

My hunting load is WW cases with 21.5 grains WW 296. Fed mag pistol primers ( I used to have the trigger a bit lighter and on rare occasion some of the other make primers wouldn't go bang on the first try, Fed always did due to softer cup material ). As mentioned the bullet is a 290 grain BRP hardcast gascheck. The load chrono's 1,350ish fps and hits a ton!

At 100 yards a cylinder full from a stable hold can be covered by the palm of your hand.

That's the particulars, thanks for asking. Here's a pic.

Nice Deer! Nice looking pistol as well. Tell me a bit more about it and how it shoots, trigger pull, barrel to cylinder gap, what holster you like to carry with, etc. The interesting details
