The Encore will handle any factory ammo in .338 Federal.

Why would you be concerned about pressure? _____________________________________________________ A 9mm may expand to a larger diameter, but a 45 ain't going to shrink Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened. - Winston Churchill

Factory barrel will not be chambered for any cartridge that has SAMMI standard pressures in excess of their design if factory or handloaded to pressures NOT to exceed that pressure. Gunsmiths and creative handloaders can make combinations that are NOT safe in the Contender or Encore. All that to say; Factory load in a factory chambered barrel is what they were designed for.
