Bird head grip?

I encountered a Uberti Cattleman Thunderer(?) .45LC, 4 3/4" barrel, it's like new and price is right(325$CDN)

However the gun has "bird head" grip frame. I know what a bird head grip look like but never handled one. I have a Ruger Bisley right now (nope, don't have a standard grip gun).

Does a grip frame of bird head variety offer any advantage?

Thanks

Pyro, IMHO this grip design is one I would avoid at all cost. It may "look cool" but in reality it sucks.

You can prove this to yourself real quick with two S&W pistols...one with a "round butt" and the other with the Smith "square butt."

The rounded butts on a pistol cause the pistol to rotate violently back in your hand and what absorbs the recoil now becomes mostly the web of your hand between thumb and index finger. With a "square butt" or more conventional grip pistol the recoil is directed mostly against the "heel" of your palm where you are the toughest and thickest.

I've got a round butt 357 that will tear your hand off with full house loads.
