Just mounted my new Ultra Dot on my 10.5" Blackhawk. Fit perfectly using the Leupold rings that I had for the scope that preceded this optic.

That's great, Bill! When are you going to try it out?

Nice set up, personally I don't use or like that filter on the end of the sight. It has a tenancy to move to the dark area while shooting!

I use the same set up on my custom 475 Linebaugh. Leupold bases and rings. Works great and holds up great.

Thanks for the advice. I took it off before I went out to sight it in this morning....I really like it much better than the scope I had on before.

That's great to hear! You'll really like it in low-light conditions!

Billinthewild,

Is that the 1" ultradot? the reason I ask is that I have the same mount on mine (I think) and have found that many red dots will not fit between the rings, including the ultradot 30. If you gave me reason to believe that the 1" will fit, I would order one. Thanks.

Cheers,
Jason

But what do I know?
