So, this weekend I was going to take my oldest son, Wyatt, who is 8 and a buddy of his shooting. His buddy is the son of a friend who is not at all comfortable with guns, but to her credit, she is allowing her son to pursue that interest and learn safe handling. Anyway, the boy popped a fever, but Wyatt and I went anyway. Proving how much I love the lil redhead, I actually allowed him to shoot up some oh so precious .22 rounds in my single six. I was shooting my .41 mag with some light target loads and he asked to shoot it once. It is my policy that if he's bold enough and confident enough to ask to step up, I let him, within reason. He is right handed and left eye dominant, which we have worked on quite a bit. Here, he obviously get a bit excited and forgets. I just let him enjoy the moment.

That is awesome!! Nicely done, Daniel! You have much reason to be proud of Wyatt! "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." JWP If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming. Semper Fidelis "Building Carpal Tunnel one round at a time"

Good on ya Dad!! Brings a smile to any Dad's face. **************************The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.
