I am sure someone likes the finger smacking grip/trigger guard on the Super Blackhawk (I have yet to meet anyone who claims they like it), but I am looking for a source of the frame and directions to switch mine over to the Bisley grip frame.

Hey Ruger built some great guns, just the best features and proper ergonomics are spread across several models of revolver.

browells sells them. You may want to do what I did. I bought a used bisley swapped the frames and sold the gun with the blackhawk frame to recoup some of my money. That way I got a frame allready blued.

It is a stainless gun so bluing is not an issue. I looked at Brownell's price for a grip frame and balked because I would never be able to get rid of the finger smacking SBH frame.
The hammer and trigger have to come from the frame style that is used as I understand it, otherwise "some" fitting is required??
Oh well it is keeping a space warm and sure won't wear out setting there unfired ( well at least not in the last 3 years)!
