Due to the public nature of my recent venting, I believe that a public apology is in order. BFRShooter, I apologize for the way that I responded to your post concerning my question about real world .44 mag. velocities. I can appreciate that you were attempting to impart some wisdom about the folly of chasing velocity, and for that I thank you. I took your suggestion to be a personal attack on me, when in fact it wasn’t, and I responded in an inappropriate way. Once again, I apologize for the way that I acted. Sincerely, Jesse

No need for an apology. I never say anything personal unless someone warrants it and you did not. Some things I say are general and are directed to hunters and shooters that I have watched all my life, not to the guys on the board here. Just trying to show our little world here is small compared to what I see all the time in the outdoors. But of course none of them come here or to any other site. Any time I say "Some guys" it is NOT about anyone here. I am talking about what I see in the field and at the ranges. I have seen guys take a nice S&W and beat the ejector rod on a post after every cylinder full because he wants speed yet never hits the target. I am not talking about a sticky case like some SRH's get, but a gross overload. All of you have seen or heard about stupid stuff, so PLEASE, don't take things as a personal attack! If I say it wrong and you think it is against you, then it is MY place to apologize, and I do. I did not get angry with what you said and realized I did not say it right to start with. I will be more careful.
