Marko came to hunt and I shot a doe at 50 yards, gutted her and went home. Later I got a call from Marko to pick him up. He shot a spike in the neck and dropped it.
What a great day with a great friend.

No sir, you need to look a bit more closely -- that's Eliot the Idiot, his pet jackass/donkey!

Thanks, TBEAR. Do you remember when my SRH took a tumble out of my tree stand in Florida? It made some solid contact on the way down and it was fine. I'll bet nothing changed.

Elliot the Idiot... I like it. Once worked on a ranch in Arcadia, La that had a daddy llama named Lawrence of Arcadia. Everyone should be around a jackass for a while. That would end the whole "mule thing".

Nice deer guys. Congrats on fresh meat in the hand with a handgun. beer

When you fall asleep in a stand, the sling is great! dancing
Then if you fellas know about sleep, your hands will clench at that moment. That double action might go off if your finger is on the trigger, dreaming of the big buck---SHOCK and a dropped gun! jumping
Then if the stand breaks and you fall, the gun will hit you in the head and be cushioned so it is not damaged. rotflmo
