Does anyone have this model yet ? I am curious as to the recoil . I think i might have to buy this model to carry in bear country. Weight is 56 oz. thats just 8oz. heavier then my 4 5/8" ruger super black hawk. | ||

Go to smith-wessonforum.com there is a report on 1,He had a couple of minor problems though. I just got the SW PC 6.5" 500 yesterday,shot it today 465gr WFNGC-Powder-AA 1680-46.0gr @ 1330 fps,lost very little velocity compared to my SW 500 8-3/8" (IE) 1350 fps with same load. Sean | |||
