His information is

Danny Reed
Hays, NC
336-696-9047

Give him a call and he will get you one out. His lead time right now is 1-2 weeks. Everything is hand stiiched and if anything goes wrong with the holster he stands behind it 110%. He does not have a business answering machine but if he does not answer leave him a message and he will call you back.

That's a nice rig! Do you mind me asking what something like that costs? Thanks!

The holster is $125. Conidering everything is done by American hands it thought it was very reasonable compared to other leather holsters.

Whitworth, I talked to Danny today and ordered one for my Encore 510 GNR. He also makes them for any gun you want, I am going to order another one for my Ruger Super Redhawk 480 Ruger.

Just got my holster in, it fits like a glove, this is one of the best made holsters I own.

I order another one today along with a new belt that Danny makes.

Great holster and made in America by a good old boy... Big Grin

It is a cross draw holster that you wear on a belt, it is actually very comfortable to wear even with the 10 inch Encore.

Whitworth, how did you like the pic's with the timber wolf hide? Also thanks for posting the pic's for me. thumb

Anyone interested in a holster contact Danny Reed at Reed Gun Leather 336-696-9047, he can custom make a holster for any of your handguns, he also does custom ammo, bullets and grips. Like I said, I am very pleased with the over all fit and quality of the holster.

10 inch Encore.

Thats a real nice iron there....Redhawk1

I went to a "sillywetpistol" shooting match last saturday and a lot of guys had an encore but mostly in 44 mags.

I had one in a 35 remington years ago and sold it Frowner it was a thompson center fire, before the encore's came out.

Thanks, glad you like it.

At this time I have 4 Encore frames and 5 barrels. A 500 mag OTT 10 inch barrel, the 510 GNR 10 inch barrel, a 12 inch 480 Ruger barrel, a 308 Win 15 inch barrel and a 223 Win 16.5 inch Barrel.
I have a 10 inch 410 GNR barrel coming and should be here by Monday at the latest. I just traded my 10 inch 454 Casull barrel off.

I like the Encore, it is a blast, but I also love my revolvers.

Give Danny Reed a call at Reed Gun Leather 336-696-9047. He said he can custom make a holster for any handgun. He is a great guy to talk to and very friendly. Tell him Alex sent you, he would like to hear that.

Just got my second holster from Mr. Reed. It is just as nice as the first one I got. I also ordered a belt and it also looks good. I think one more holster is in order for my new 510 GNR Revolver that is coming. Big Grin
