Nice looking pistol. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

That's beautiful, TBEAR!! Congratulations on the score! Let us know how it shoots! "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." JWP If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming. Semper Fidelis "Building Carpal Tunnel one round at a time"

wasn't planning on shooting it but since ny has to shoot it for their waste of time cobis program.I might as well shoot a mag DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR

Beautiful! If they're doing as good a job on these as they are the newer SAA's it should be a fine pistol.

Is it just me or does anyone else just love a plain Ol' 1911. No chain-link stippling, whiz-bang ultra night vision sights, mega-huge mag well, super glass cutter laser. Just a nice 1911. I love it!!! I'm not calling it plain just simply beautiful.

K20350, the Tao says perfection is not achieved when nothing more can be added; but when nothing more can be subtracted. A standard 1911 is the essence of that when "tuned" to feed hardball properly. Rich Para-Ordnance guy

Absolutely! My favorite 1911 variants are the mil-spec ones. I even like them better Parkerized rather than blued.
