I have a Performance Center Smith 500 in the hardest to find 6 1/2" length w/integral factory comp and UNFluted Cyl(most were fluted)..it is All Satin Stainless.I have taken two buff(One shot kills Big Grin ) with it,but it shows as new and I am considering selling it,with or w/o Aimpoint Micro...Any suggestions on Value/selling price as they dont make this one no more, just the 10" Howitzer versions!shocker

They made these and ones like it with all black matte finish and stainless unfluted cylinder. Both are nicer than the longer barreled versions for sure. I pondered the matte black ones for quite awhile but was unsure about the balance/handling so passed on them. They were selling new for 1200-1300 on gunbroker and still come up once in awhile(I visit that site way too much) so I would hazard a guess that perhaps 900.00 without the aimpoint would be reasonable. I don't know anything about the aimpoint but if I was buying the rig I would want to try out the aimpoint to see if I liked it before payment FOR IT was sent. This is JMHO on the matter and I know you are a reasonable guy.

Anywhere from $900 to $1000. I was looking for one at one time, but like other short run X-frames, there real hard to find. But they will come from time to time.

Just so you know...........

The 6 1/2" model was a Lew Horton exclusive and only 500 were produced. They do show up on GB "occasionally" but not often and they go high.
The matte black model that Woody is referring to was a 7 1/2" model and probably my favorite for balance. What you will rarely see is the 10 1/2" model with the black matte frame and unfluted cylinder. To date I've only seen one besides mine and the guy was asking how many were made. I honestly don't know and the only mention of it in the S&W catalog actually came from me.

Someone needs to snatch this up since they don't plan on making any more Smiler

For reference here are mine, minus the picture of the 2 3/4" snubby Wink

If you happen to remember the serial number of the 10 1/2" model I'd appreciate knowing what it was. I'm trying to see what the range of numbers was. As of right now it's only 5
