I noticed the 45 Colt/410. BFR is not California approved.

Being from the "left" coast (but up in the sane far north) is there anyway you could load your own brass loads with shot and a wad over the the proper powder charge, with maybe a wax cap or (?), with any of these big bore pistols?

Any ideas?
