I was just wondering how successful we were this year as handgun hunters. I got my blacktail deer, a 3 point western count, with my Super Redhawk in .44 Mag. I was lucky this year and took it at a little over thirty yards right behind the shoulder. It took about 10 steps and died. It had been hunched up ready to run when I shot it so I think the brief run was just residual energy. It was dead and just didn't know it. Anyways I was wondering how you all did. Slim
