Has anyone used the CEB Raptor 200 grain bullet in the .44 Mag? I'm thinking it could be a good option to use in my .44 carbine. | ||

Yes, I have been shooting them out of revolvers and out of a couple rifles, a Marlin 1894 and Ruger Carbine, not pushing them very hard I was getting 1850+ - out of the rifles. They have been one of the most accurate bullets I have shot, Last season a few deer were shot with the 200's out of a CVA optima muzzleloading pistol at 130-150 yards, broke bone and massive trauma, the deer went strait down. Even the 150 grain .429 Raptors have killed deer and hogs, Dan from CEB shot them out of a contender at 1900. I posted about these in the Terminal Performance Thread, even did some bone impact tests, learned a lot in the testing of these bullets, these 200's act bigger than they are. I too have used them, and as Seasons reports, they are highly accurate. I shot a couple of hogs with the 220 grain .475 bullets (out of an SRH in .480 Ruger) a few months back and they work exceedingly well. Bloody accurate bullets.
