A chest holster? "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." JWP If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming. Semper Fidelis "Building Carpal Tunnel one round at a time"

At 83 oz, they're too heavy for hip carry. A chest holster is the way to go. There are plenty out there for large revolvers, both scoped and unscoped models.

I hate the weight of chest holsters on my shoulder muscles. I carry my 6 1/2" .500 and 10" Raging Bull .500 in hip holsters. Doesn't bother me a bit. Larry Rogers

I don't have mine yet, but I've held a Guide's Choice holster and that'll be the one that holds my 500 to my chest.

7x Leather made this one for my 7 1/2-inch SRH with an Ultradot 30 up top. It's the most comfortable chest/shoulder rig I have ever used that can be comfortably worn with a backpack. He does lots of holsters for X-frames as well. www.7xleather.com "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." JWP If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming. Thank you all guys. I am not really sure if hip or chest holster. Just need to see some photos, read your opinions and decide. Jiri
