I recently bought a box of Buffalo Bore 360 grain .454 Casull ammo, and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it. Have yet to try it out, but I would imagine that it'll penetrate pretty well.

Tim usually loads most of his ammo on the stout side.

I shoot his 45 Colt ammo, 300 and 325 grain. When you pull the trigger, hang on to it. Your revolver will think its got a life of its own. Penetrate? You bet, both ends. beer

Whittworth, I have shot quite a few of the B.B. 360 grain 454 load a great penetrating and terminal effective load. This is probably the only one of Buffalo Bore's loads that is not balls to the wall. The 360 454 load has cronographed between 1400 to 1420 in 3 different revolvers that I have cronongraphed.I realy like this load

The recoil with the 360 gr bullet is not a severe as you would think. It is heavy but not a hard punisher. Not like the jacketed bullets at pushed to the limit.
