My hunting loads are pretty brutal but VERY accurate. I don't shoot it much. So I am looking for suggestions for an ACCURATE mid range load that will let me shoot it more!I am shooting 400 grain gas checked cast bullets. Thanks, Peter. I use 13.0 to 14.0 grains of HS-6 for midrange loads depending on how deep the bullet seats. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out. | |||

Lee 400 gr boolit and 15 gr of HS-6 is very accurate. Pleasant to shoot too. | |||

bfr, you may be right. I checked my targets and found one shot with 15grs. HS-6. In any case I have loaded up 5 at each of 13.0, 13.5, 14.0, 14.5 and 15.0 so we shall see.
