Is there someone that makes outsized grips for the Blackhawk? The grip frame is just a tiny bit undersized for my hands, and I'm not exactly looking to go putting a SBH or Bisley grip frame onto it.

I recently put Hogue Grips on mine, little over $20, although I liked the looks with wood better but the Hogue are so much more comfortable and I shoot much better.

Try Herrett...I think if you look on the web it is Herrett-stocks.com or something similar. They make wood oversized grips. I would also look at Hogue.

Sputster, have the same problem with my rather large hands. Have a set of Pachmayr Presentations on my 41 mag. It covers over the entire grip frame. It will not "roll" however. I like em.

Are you curling your pinkie underneath or trying to get all 4 fingers around the stocks?

you could try CLCcustomgrips.com He is a custom grip maker for the ruger handguns. He may be able to make you grips to fit your hands.

Dennis, I can get all four fingers on the grip, just barely. It's not comfortable. It's one thing for me to hold the wife's Glock with three of four fingers, but I would like like to hold on better to a .41 Mag revolver. I've had it a while, and used to have Arizona Grips on them, but they were way too large and funny shaped.

Sputster,

email me & I will send some pictures of Ruger handgun stocks that I make. Bullshooter Custom Revolver Stocks. I don't have a web page yet, I haven't needed one, been selling them steady as it is. I make most all of mine .062" oversize, but can make them any size desired. I use very good English & American Black Walnut, also Claro & Bastonge, also some Turkish Walnut. I also do laminated stocks for S&W revolvers.
