When S&W frist came out with these light wieght revolvers I thought that they would be too light to shoot heavy loads in comfortably, I could not have been more incorrect. I recently aquired a 4" M-357 in 41 Mag and I absolutely love it. The revolve is very well made and extremely accurate with factory 210 grainers, which is th only load that Ihave shot in it so far.

A big thumbs up for S&W, thumb this going to be my daily carry and trail gun

Yup, that's one hell-of-a revolver you got there! The recoil is surprisingly mild I have found -- or maybe I'm just going numb....... shocker

Yup yup! I've got one and 265gr. loads are actually bearable for 6 rounds and a few more.

Truly a fantastic carry-gun.

Enjoy!

Robert

Maybe one too many blows to the head.

If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

Woderful gun...just was shooting mine last week. Try a set of the S&W Hogue grips for the 500 S&W and good things ever get better...

My all-around load for the gun is a Leadhead Bullet Co. 230 Keith with 8.0 grains of Unique...shoots and even 1000 fps from the 4" barrel. A 210 Berry's plated with the same charge gets 950...
