Hi everyone,

I just mounted a red dot on my BFR and now my holster doesn't fit. Can anyone suggest a good holster source?

The revolver is a 6.5" long cylinder (.500 S&W).

Thanks

well, what brand holster were you using before you mounted the red dot sight?

The pistol came with an inexpensive Uncle Mike's shoulder holster. It's reasonably serviceable, and they probably make a similar model for use with scoped revolvers, but I wanted to see what others were using before I settled for something that was "adequate".

I have an Uncle Mike's shoulder holster for a large scoped revolver and I really couldn't be happier with it. Yup, it's cheap, but it works pretty well in this configuration.

I've taken the Uncle Mikes holsters and split the top, then sewed a cover over on the holster to protect the scope. Not terribly difficult to do.

You can always buy a trailer for your ATV and put a blanket in it to cushion the pistol......... clap
