Item No: RURNVB-444-SPCL
Model: Bisley Flattop

Allocated Item which means their not out yet but my acct rep @ Lipsey's says "we expect Ruger to start shipping them out not too long after Shot Show. I will add them to your wish list to be notified when we receive them."

So, if anyone wants one and does not have an FFL who has a Lipsey's account, let me know and I'll try and help.

Their also making a 5-1/2" barrel at the same price.

Very nice, but probably won't do anything my OM three screw .45 Colt won't do.

Hitman,

If you recall my trip to Alaska last year, I'm ALL OVER IT! Long Live the 45 Colt!

Still, that Flat Top sure is pretty!

335 gr LBT WFNGC, Starline brass, WLP, Max charge of Lil'Gun (21 gr?) running 1105 fps

I now shoot the 280 (285 gr) LBT WFN with H110 and Fed150's; 'bout 1200 fps.

GSSP,
I hate you.
I bought the 4 5/8" Lipseys Flattop. NOW, you trot the Bisley version out for me to covet.
You are evil and a bad man.
I hope can forgive you....

GSSP:
Okay, you're forgiven.

It's funny, I was just talking to John Linebaugh the other day about building just that configuration, i.e. putting a Bisley grip frame and a 5.5" barrel on my .44spl, to be an understudy to my .500 Bisley he built for me.

It must be fate, huh?
