Some time back there was talk of getting a replacement part for the muzzle brake on the .500s that had no holes in it. I received one in the mail the other day. I haven't fired the gun yet, but it fit just like the factory units. Contact info: freedom475@live.com

Like I've been told; pictures, or it didn't happen. Hopefully it will help quieten, relatively speaking, those things. Keep us posted on how it functions. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

Once I learn how to post pictures I run out of reasons to not get several guns on the market.

I ordered one of these as well for my 4 inch 500. Plan to give it a go as soon as it comes in. The more I shoot these big bores the more I dislike comps of any types. Read more about it here: http://smith-wessonforum.com/s...t-holes-finally.html

Are they making them for the 460's also? That would simply make my day!
