Some time back there was talk of getting a replacement part for the muzzle brake on the .500s that had no holes in it. I received one in the mail the other day. I haven't fired the gun yet, but it fit just like the factory units. Contact info: freedom475@live.com

Like I've been told; pictures, or it didn't happen. Hopefully it will help quieten, relatively speaking, those things. Keep us posted on how it functions.

I ordered one of these as well for my 4 inch 500. Plan to give it a go as soon as it comes in. The more I shoot these big bores the more I dislike comps of any types.
