| Check the 'completed auctions' listing at eBay and gunbroker to see what barrels have actually sold for; listing prices mean nothing. George |

| In my area, Utah, an action for a Contender runs from $200.00 up to $300.00 for those that have collector value. Barrels are just about the same with run of the mill 30-30 and 44 mag averaging $225.00. Those that are in demand or made by one of the custom shops, like Bullberry, run as high as $400.00. It all rides on demand and availability. |
