The problem is not how well she said it but that liberals can not be talked to and made to understand anything but what they believe is best for all of us. What she said will not change a single mind. Or is that mindless? I live around liberals and let me tell you, NOTHING, NOTHING can change their thinking. But then the creeps in congress are protected by men with guns unlike the woman that could not use hers.

bfrshooter, you are right, but as soon as they find themselves in that situation, and sadly someone will have to die to change there minds. The real sad thing is, most of the liberal legislators are not looking out for there constituents, but for there own agenda. No matter how many people tell a liberal anti-gun clown that they want guns, the liberal clown will vote as he wants to, not as the people want him too. The other thing is, people actually think they are not after our guns. They say we are paranoid. If you're going to make a hole, make it a big one. Which is why politicians, like diapers should be changed often; and for the same reason. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

A friend of mine lives in Virginia. Same county where most of the beltway sniper shootings occured. The gun store he frequents told him that in the middle of the shootings, several of the local politicians came in and demanded handguns be sold to them on the spot, right then and there. Gunstore owner told them sorry, no way. Virginia has a waiting period. They were scared crapless and didn't care about any silly waiting periods that were dictated by law. They wanted a gun and they wanted it now. They thought the law shouldn't apply to them and they told him that. "I'm so and so, I'm a state senator/congressman" etc. It'll always be different for the elite, special chosen ones. JJWEN

3006va, actually I checked with my friend and at the time of the beltway shootings, the city of Arlington as well as the county that it's in had enacted a waiting period law. The way I understand it, Richmond told them that this wasn't copestetic. The law has since been dropped and no longer exists. But like I said, at the time of that law's existance, there were politicians who were responsible for that law who thought that it didn't apply to them. JJWEN
