Has anyone used a holster from Simply Rugged?
http://www.simplyrugged.com/

The pictures make them look pretty nice. I"m seeing if they can make one to fit the extra high front sight on my 500 JRH BFR.
Here is a pic of their Long Hunter with chesty puller straps.

They can be worn strong side, cross draw, or turned into a chest or shoulder holster with their Chesty Puller straps.

I just bought the BFR Bandolier holster from Magnum Research and it won't fit the extra high hiviz front sight Frowner

Lar,

I just had Rob make me a Loaded Pancake for my 4 3/4" 500WE and a tricked out Cattleman for my 6" 475 Linebaugh. He makes some quality gear at very reasonable prices.

Rob is a great guy & he makes very good holsters, I have 4 of them including a Chesty Puller. I use it a lot when I'm fishing, handy but out of the way. You won't be disappointed.

I looked alot around for holsters and really liked the simply rugged design. though was never thrilled with all the brass on the chest-pulley system.
I found

They make a great holster and I can vouch it

I know you didnt ask but just another option and they can customize to fit anything.

The Diamond D Guide's choice looks like a nice holster, but I think the pancake style might offer more clearnace for the front sight.
Maybe I can get them to just run the stitching a little closer to the edge to give me a little more room.

I bought one of the simply rugged chest rigs for a backpacking trip last year. It's very comfortable and keeps the gun out of my fly casting stroke. I like it very much.

I have their sourdough models for my S&W 460, 57, and 60 pro, as well as a Barracuda for my Dan Wesson 1911. Rob builds a fantastic holster with really reasonable turn around times.

I've got one of his loaded pancake holsters for a 7.5" .480 SRH and love it. I had a buddy of mine put a thumb break on it and I'm happier with it that way. Great holster! I really like the shell loops right on the rig too. Convenient and easy to get to.

I have two of Rob's holsters and they are great. Also have the chest rig. His customer service is outstanding.
